sweet potato casserole

2 pounds sweet potatoes- cooked
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup evaporated milk
3 Tablespoons butter melted
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs


Topping:
1/3 cup flour
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/8 tsp salt
2 TBSP butter melted
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Heat oven to 350. Mix first 7 ingredients together. Hand beaters work great to get it smooth. In seperate bowl mix topping ingredients. Spread on top. Bake for 25 minutes. You can stick it under the broiler for 2-4 minutes to get it golden brown, but watch it can burn fast. Make sure you use a metal pan or broiler safe pan if you intend to broil it. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
