Onions confit

3 onions, cut into strips
1-2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp oil
Cook covered for 15 minutes
Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2tsp sugar
Stir and turn heat up to medium high.
Add 2-3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Stir until carmelized.
