Chocolate chip cookies


3/4 c sugar
3/4 c brown sugar
1 c butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/4 - 2 1/2 c flour- 1 1/4 cups wheat, 1 1/4 cup white
1-2 c chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325. Mix the two sugars and the butter together until smooth. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop batter by spoonfuls onto a lined cookie sheet. Bake for 11-13 minutes.

    Preparation – 15 min|Cooking – 9 min|Cooling Time – 15 min|Yields – 60

    Ingredients:
    3 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
    ¾ cup granulated sugar
    ¾ cup packed brown sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    2 large eggs
    2 cups (12oz pkg) chocolate chips
    1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

    Directions:
    PREHEAT oven to 375ºF.

    COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl.

    CREAM butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels (and nuts). Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

    BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
